At the first application of power, the unitautomatically executes a memory self-test. A full self-test canbe run from the front panel. A passcode and Unit ID may beset using the UTIL M ENU.Self-TestUpon a power-up, the LCD displays M EMORY TEST N OW TESTINGand the Test LEDs are illuminated. When the self-test is com-pleted with no failures detected, the OK LED lights up and theLCD momentarily displays M EMORY TEST( S) PASSED. If a fail-ure is detected, a list of failures is displayed in the LCD win-dow.InitializationSet User PasscodeThe TSU 120 is designed to operate with or without the use of apasscode. The default condition is without a passcode.If the unit is to be remotely accessed using T-WATCH Pro, youmust enter a passcode. When managing a number of units, thepasscode can be the same for all the units.The passcode should be a number easily remembered. Onceentered, the passcode is required to access any operation otherthan viewing. See Change/Set a Passcode on page 6-4 for details.Set Unit IdentificationThe Unit ID sets the unit to respond to remote control (con-trolled by a device other than the front panel or terminal). If noUnit ID is recorded it is not possible to operate from any remotecontrol device, including the local PC for T-WATCH Pro orSNMP. See Unit ID on page 6-4 for details.
