Allcleaning agents must be removed with plenty of clean water, as they can have acorrosive effect when the cooking surface is heated up. Only clean when thesurface is cold.Do not use any aggressive cleaning materials, such as grill or oven sprays, roughscouring agents or scratchy pan cleaners.3 Clean the glass ceramic cooking surface after every use, when it is handhot orcold. This prevents food residues from being burnt on.Limestone and water rings, fat splashes and shiny metallic discolorations can beremoved with a standard commercially available cleaner for glass ceramic orstainless steel. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.Light soiling1. Wipe glass ceramic surface with a damp cloth and a little washing up liquid.2. Then rub dry using a clean cloth. No cleaning agent residues must remain on thesurface.Stubborn residues1. Use a scraper to remove foods that have boiled over or stubborn splashes.2. Place the scraper on the glass ceramic surface at an angle.3. Remove residues by sliding the blade over the surface.
