The CELL-DYN ® 3000 continuouslymonitors the status of the system and displays pertinent information inthe status box or on the Bulletin Line. If a problem is detected, the statusbox displays FAULT: SEE DIAG or SEE SPECIAL, the Bulletin Linedisplays a message and the word “Fault” on the Analyzer status indicatorpanel is illuminated in red. A description of the fault can be obtained bypressing the [FAULT REPORT] key on the DIAGNOSTICS MENUScreen.The first section of this chapter discusses the DIAGNOSTICS MENUkeys. The remainder of the chapter is devoted to the TroubleshootingGuide.The Troubleshooting Guide is designed to assist the operator inidentifying and resolving instrument problems. Instructions are alsogiven for obtaining technical assistance from the Abbott CustomerSupport Center. The guide includes troubleshooting procedures,instructions for component replacement and troubleshooting tips andtechniques. The last section describes the instrument messages and faultconditions. The tables in this section include instructions for correctiveaction.
