Bootable-CD mode letsyou configure the controller before you install your operating system.After you have configured the controller and installed the operating system, install and runAdaptec Storage Manager as an installed software application, as described earlier in thischapter.Bootable-CD Mode LimitationsRunning Adaptec Storage Manager in bootable-CD mode is not an alternative to running it asan installed software application.
