How can I get the system to recognize mydevice.1 The USBConnect 2000 adapter is designed as a self-powereddevice and as such receives it’s power from the terminationpower line of the attached SCSI devices. As a result, all SCSIdevices must supply termination power. Some devices such asthe Iomega Zip drive and some scanners do not provide termi-nation power and as such can only be used if they are attachedto the SCSI chain with another SCSI device that provides ter-mination power.2 The SCSI devices must be powered on before the systemacknowledges the USBConnect 2000 adapter.
