About this DocumentThis manual is intended for administrators and users of theAXIS P3915–R, and is applicable to firmware 5.55 and later. It includesinstructions for using and managing the product on your network.Previous experience of networking will be of use when using thisproduct. Some knowledge of UNIX or Linux-based systems may also bebeneficial, for developing shell scripts and applications. Later versionsof this document will be posted to the Axis website, as required. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protectionagainst harmful interference in a residential installation. Thisequipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and,if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may causeharmful interference to radio communications. However, there is noguarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. Ifthis equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or televisionreception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off andon, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one ormore of the following measures:• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different fromthat to which the receiver is connected.• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.To be used in a residential area or a demanding electrical environment,the product shall be connected using a shielded network cable (STP)that is properly grounded.CanadaThis Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.
