40Edit recordingsA connected USB HDD or SSD setup for recording allows you to editthe hard disk content to your liking.For example, you can changecategory of a recording or delete,shorten, or split it into two separaterecordings.In addition, you can protect anyrecording you wish to keep oractivate a Parental Lock.Bring up the main menu and selectRECORDINGS to bring up the HARD DISKCONTENT menu. Here, among other things,you can sort your recordings alphabeticallyor by date using the green button and youcan bring up the OPTIONS menu using thered button to be able to edit a recording.If Parental Lock is activated for a recording,you must enter the Access Code before youcan bring up the OPTIONS menu and editthe recording.You can prevent access to your recordings byactivating the Parental Lock function.
