MaintenanceThis chapter describes the main inspection andmaintenance methods of the SP05 main body.Refer to the SP05 Owner's manual and partscatalog for daily inspection, maintenance andhandling of this equipment.DangerDangerFollow the instructions below for safe inspectionand maintenance.Move the equipment to a level surface toprepare for adjustment and maintenance.Apply the parking brake, stop the engine andremove the key. Make sure that each part hascompletely stopped its motion before startingprocedures for adjustment, maintenance andso on.Do not touch moving parts. Avoid adjustmentas much as possible while the engine isrunning. Keep people away from the area.Use an appropriate chain block, hoist and jackas needed. Securely support the liftedmachine with a jack stand or an appropriateblock.Use BARONESS genuine parts forreplacement parts and accessories.Never start the engine in a enclosed room, forpoisoning by carbon monoxide may occur.Never touch the exhaust system while theengine is running or right after the engine hasstopped. Its high temperature may cause aburn.Keep flames away from the battery. Batteriesemit hydrogen gas and mishandling maycause an explosion.The electrolytic solution in the battery issulfuric acid. Contact with the electrolyticsolution (sulfuric acid) may cause blindness ora burn.
