Seat switch [NC type (Off when pressed)]The seat switch is one of the safety switchesof the interlock system and is located in theseat cushion.Brake pedal switch [NO type (On whenpressed)]The brake pedal switch is one of the safetyswitches of the interlock system, and islocated in the brake pedal fulcrum.Light switchThe light switch is used to turn the headlightson and off (the front and rear lights are linkedto each other), and is located in the upperleft of the operation panel.Solenoid valveWhen the raise/lower switch for the rake isoperated, the solenoid valve is activated toswitch the hydraulic path in the valvemodule. It is installed in the valve module, and is located behind the front cover.Lights (12V55W)The lights can be turned on and off byoperating the light switch. The lights arelocated at the front and rear of the machine. These lights are daytime lights. Do notoperate the machine during nighttime orwhen visibility is poor.BuzzerThe brake pedal switch and forward/reversepedal proximity switch are linked to eachother, and the buzzer sounds intermittentlywhen the forward or reverse pedal isdepressed with the brake applied. Thebuzzer is located at the back of the operationpanel behind the front cover.Forward/reverse pedal proximity switchA plastic detection magnet is installed in theforward/reverse pedal arm in order to detectthat the proximity switch is not in contact withthe magnet. The forward/reverse pedalproximity switch is one of the safety switchesof the interlock system, and is located closeto the forward/reverse pedals on the frame.Key switchThe key switch is used to start and stop theengine. This switch is located in the upperright of the operation panel.Raise/lower switchThe raise/lower switch is connected to thesolenoid valve in the valve module, and isused to switch the solenoid valve. This1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.switch is located on the middle right of theoperation panel.Hour meterThe hour meter indicates the number ofhours the engine has run and is located inthe lower right of the operation panel.Perform periodic inspection andmaintenance based on the number of hoursthe engine has run as indicated on thismeter.FusesThere is a main fuse for the entire circuitry(20A) and a fuse for the lighting system(20A). These fuses are located in the lowerright corner behind the front cover.Magnetic switchWhen the key switch is in the “START”position, power is supplied to the magneticswitch so that the switch allows current toflow through the starter motor. This switch islocated below the battery behind the rearcover.BatteryWhen the engine starts, the battery suppliespower to the starter and electricalcomponents. The battery is located on theright side behind the rear cover.Interlock relayThe interlock relays are linked with theforward/reverse pedal proximity switch, andthe control status can be confirmed by LEDindicators. These relays make up the controlboard of the interlock system which islocated behind the drive selector valvelocated on the right side behind the rearcover.Special toolsNo use of special tools is required.Measurement methodBatteryBattery specific gravity measurementBecause the specific gravity of the electrolytedecreases almost in proportion to the amountof electricity discharged from the battery, it ispossible to ascertain the remaining batterycapacity by measuring the specific gravity ofthe electrolyte using a hydrometer. The specific gravity measured by thehydrometer needs to be temperature-10.11.12.13.14.Electrical systemPage 6-4 Special tools
