Adaptive CruiseControl system information isdisplayed in the Head-Up Display.(Off): Move the cruise controlswitch to this position to turn offthe system (or apply your brake todeactivate the set speed).(On): Move the switch to thisposition to turn on the system.(Set/Decrease): Press this button,located at the end of themultifunction lever, to set thespeed, or to decrease the set speedwhen the system is active.+ (Resume/Increase): Move theswitch to this position to resumea previously set speed, or toincrease the set speed when thesystem is active.Selecting a Follow Distance (GAP)Use the GAP button on the steeringwheel to adjust the distancebetween you and the vehicle aheadof you.+ (Increase Follow Distance): Pressthe top of the GAP button toincrease the follow distance.– (Decrease Follow Distance): Pressthe bottom of the GAP button todecrease the follow distance.The (Vehicle Ahead) symbolon the Head-Up Display willilluminate when a vehicle isdetected in your path. AdaptiveCruise Control will adjust yourspeed to follow the vehicle at theselected follow distance.Adaptive Cruise Control AlertIf driver action is required whenusing Adaptive Cruise Control, the(Adaptive Cruise Control Alert)symbol on the Head-Up Displayflashes and a warning beep sounds.This may occur when approaching avehicle too rapidly and the systemcannot apply sufficient braking.TIRE SEALANT ANDCOMPRESSOR KIT (if equipped)The Tire Sealant and CompressorKit is located in the trunk.
