Check with your dealer before addingequipment to the outside of the vehicle.FuelUse of the recommended fuel is an important partof the proper maintenance of this vehicle. To helpkeep the engine clean and maintain optimum vehicleperformance, we recommend the use of gasolineadvertised as TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline.Look for the TOP TIER label on the fuel pump to ensuregasoline meets enhanced detergency standardsdeveloped by auto companies. You can also useregular unleaded gasoline rated at 87 octane or higher,but the vehicle's acceleration could be slightly reduced,and a slight audible knocking noise, commonly referredto as spark knock, might be heard. If the octane is lessthan 87, you might notice a heavy knocking noisewhen you drive. If this occurs, use a gasoline ratedat 87 octane or higher as soon as possible.6-5
