Press and hold SRCE locatedon the steering wheel until youhear a beep. The audio systemmutes.2. Clearly state one of thecommands listed on thefollowing pages.Helpful Hints for StatingCommands. When a multiple command isavailable, choose the commandthat works best.. Words that are in brackets areoptional. For example, for thecommand Radio [band] [select]FM, stating Radio FM or Radioselect FM are both validcommands.. When the system recognizes thecommand the system does oneof the following:‐ Perform the function.‐ Ask you to confirm yourchoice.‐ Issue an error message “Didnot recognize. VoiceRecognition Canceled.”. If you experience difficulty withthe system recognizing acommand, try saying it moresoftly, and wait for a fewseconds after the beep,or repeat the command.. Background noise may causevoice commands to bemisunderstood, including airflownoise from wind.. To use the voice recognitionsystem, the map DVD must beloaded and the navigationsystem must be on.This system is able to recognizecommands in three differentlanguages.
