The engine will not start inService Only Mode. Push the buttonagain to turn the vehicle off.Starting the EnginePlace the transmission in theproper gear.Automatic TransmissionMove the shift lever to P (Park) orN (Neutral). The engine will not startin any other position. To restart thevehicle when it is already moving,use N (Neutral) only.Notice: Do not try to shift toP (Park) if the vehicle is moving.If you do, you could damage thetransmission. Shift to P (Park)only when the vehicle is stopped.Notice: If you add electrical partsor accessories, you could changethe way the engine operates. Thevehicle will not start if the clutchpedal is not all the way down.Starting Procedure (KeylessAccess)1. If the vehicle has the keylessaccess system, the transmittermust be in the vehicle. Put yourfoot on the brake pedal andpush the START/STOP button.When the engine beginscranking, let go of the button.The idle speed will go down asthe engine gets warm. Do notrace the engine immediatelyafter starting it.
