The longer range can causestation frequencies to interfere witheach other. Static can occur whenthings like storms and power linesinterfere with radio reception. Whenthis happens, try reducing the trebleon the radio.Mobile Phone UsageMobile phone usage can causeinterference with the vehicle's radio.Rear Side Window AerialThe AM-FM aerial is located in thepassenger rear side windows. Makesure the inside surfaces of the rearside windows are not scratched andthat the lines on the glass are notdamaged. If the inside surfaces aredamaged, they could interfere withradio reception.If a mobile telephone aerial needs tobe attached to the glass, make surethat the grid lines for the AM-FMaerial are not damaged. There isenough space between the gridlines to attach a mobile telephoneaerial without interfering with radioreception.Notice: Using a razor blade orsharp object to clear the inside ofthe rear side windows may affectradio reception or damage therear side window aerial. Repairswould not be covered by thewarranty. Do not clear the insideof the rear side windows withsharp objects.Notice: Do not apply aftermarketglass tinting with metallic film.The metallic film in some tintingmaterials will interfere with ordistort the incoming radioreception. Any damage caused tothe aerial due to metallic tintingmaterials will not be covered bythe warranty.
