If you fmd any paint or appearance concerns,advise your dealeras soon as possible. Your Owner’sManual and Maintenance booklet has instructionsregarding the care of paint,trim, upholstery, glass, andother appearance items.Chemical Paint SpottingSome weather and atmospheric conditions can create achemical fallout. Airborne pollutants can fall upon andattack painted surfaces on your vehicle.This damage cantake two forms: blotchy, ringlet-shaped discolorations, andsmall irregular dark spots etched into the paint surface.Although no defectin the factory applied paint causesthis, Cadillac will repair, at no chargeto the owner, thepainted surfacesof new vehicles damaged by thisfalloutcondition within 12 months or 12,000 milesof purchase,whichever comes first.Warranty Coverage -ExtensionsTime Extensions:The New Vehicle Limited Warrantywill be extended one day for each day beyond the first24 hour period in whichyour vehicle is at an authorizeddealer facility for warranty service.You may be askedtoshow the repair ordersto verify the periodof time thewarranty is to be extended. Your extension rights mayvary depending on state law.Mileage Extensions:Prior to delivery, some mileageisput on your vehicle during testing at the assembly plant,during shipping and while at the dealer facility. Thedealer records this mileage on the first pageof thiswarranty booklet at delivery. For eligible vehicles, thismileage will be added to the mileage limits of thewarranty ensuring that you receive full benefitof thecoverage.
