This zone starts at each sidemirror and goes back approximately5 m (16 ft). The height of the zone isapproximately between 0.5 m (1.5 ft)and 2 m (6 ft) off the ground.Use caution while changing laneswhen towing a trailer, as the SBZAdetection zones that extend backfrom the side of the vehicle do notmove further back when a trailer istowed.
