3Open the papersupport.This turns on the battery switch so the printer can receive power from thebattery pack.You can now start your print operations. When not printing, close the papersupport. When the paper support is open, the battery switch is turned on and theprinter is receiving power from the battery pack.Battery Pack CapacityWith a fully charged battery pack, you may be able to print up to 200 pageswithout the use of AC power. The actual printing time depends on thecomplexity of the data you are printing.Printing With a Low BatteryWhen you are using the battery pack and the battery starts to run low, theERROR light blinks, the printer beeps three times, and printing stops. You canpress RESUME to continue printing. After printing a few more sheets, theprinter will stop again. You can press RESUME to continue several times.When you finish printing, turn of the power.When the battery becomes completely discharged, the POWER and ERRORlights start to blink, the printer sounds a long beep followed by a short beep, and1 of 2 4/24/98 3:15 PM
