41Scanning with CapturePerfect 3.0CapturePerfect 3.0 is an ISIS-compliant application developed forCanon document scanners. For more information on CapturePerfect3.0, refer to the CapturePerfect 3.0 Operation Guide.Scanning with CapturePerfectThe following scanning methods are available for selection from the[Scan] menu in CapturePerfect 3.0.Scan Batch to FileDocuments are scanned with preset scanning conditions, and thescanned image data is saved to a specified folder.Scan Batch to PrinterDocuments are scanned with preset scanning conditions, and thescanned image data is printed to a specified printer.Scan Batch to MailDocuments are scanned with preset scanning conditions, and aMAPI-compliant e-mail client is started to generate a new e-mailmessage with the scanned images as attachments.Scan PageOnly one page of the document is scanned.Scan JobThe scanning conditions and scan mode (Scan Batch to File, ScanBatch to Printer, or Scan Batch to Mail) are registered in advance asa job. The scan job can then be executed by selecting the registeredjob from the drop-down list (A), and then clicking (Scan Job) on thetoolbar (B).HintA total of 99 jobs can be registered, including the following twopreregistered scan jobs:• Color DocumentScans the document in 24-bit color, simplex mode, and 300 dpiresolution, and saves the image as a PDF file in the [My Pictures]folder.• Binary DocumentScans the document in black-and-white, simplex mode, and 200dpi resolution, and saves the image as a PDF file in the [MyPictures] folder.Scan Batch to FileSaves scanned images asfiles to a specified folder.Scan Batch to PrinterPrints scanned imagesto a specified printer.(Network)DR-2020UScan Batch to MailStarts your e-mail applicationand attaches the scannedimage to a new e-mailmessage.Scan to PresentationDisplays scanned imagesvia a projector.
