This is enabled only when the file format is specified as PDF (OCR), and the resulting file is iden-tified as being in "searchable PDF."Document Page Orientation Auto Identification- This function is available only when searchable PDF has been selected.- The result of OCR processing (i.e., the orientation of characters) is used to identify the orientation of theoriginal page, and the transmission will occur after automatically rotating the page image.- This function is enabled as part of Additional Functions:Additional Function>Communication Settings>Common settings>TX Settings>PDF (OCR) set-tings>Smart ScanON/OFF: ON (default)Document Name OCR- This functions is available only when the searchable PDF function is enabled.- The result of OCR processing is used to automatically attach a file name at time of transmission.- This function is enabled when a check is run on file name OCR (as part of the file name setup on theTransmission Setup screen).- As many as 24 characters may be used.
