140The range of reproducible colors is called the color space. With thiscamera, you can set the color space for captured images to sRGB orAdobe RGB. For normal shooting, sRGB is recommended.In Basic Zone modes, sRGB is set automatically.1 Select [Color space]. Under the [z3] tab, select [Colorspace], then press <0>.2 Set the desired color space. Select [sRGB] or [Adobe RGB], thenpress <0>.This color space is mainly used for commercial printing and otherindustrial uses. This setting is not recommended if you do not knowabout image processing, Adobe RGB, and Design rule for Camera FileSystem 2.0 (Exif 2.21 or higher). The image will look very subdued in asRGB computer environment and with printers not compatible withDesign rule for Camera File System 2.0 (Exif 2.21 or higher). Post-processing of the image with software for computer will therefore berequired.3 Setting the Color SpaceNAbout Adobe RGB If the captured still photo was shot in the Adobe RGB color space, thefirst character in the file name will be an underscore “_”.
