356If a problem occurs with the camera, first refer to this TroubleshootingGuide. If this Troubleshooting Guide does not resolve the problem,contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center. If the battery’s remaining capacity (p.334) is 94% or higher, thebattery will not be recharged. Do not recharge any battery pack other than genuine CanonBattery Pack LP-E6/LP-E6N. If (1) the battery charger or battery pack has a problem or (2)communication with the battery pack failed (with a non-Canon batterypack), the protection circuit will stop the charging and the lamp will blink inorange at high speed. In the case of (1), unplug the charger’s power plugfrom the power outlet. Detach and reattach the battery pack to the charger.Wait a few minutes, then reconnect the power plug to the power outlet. Ifthe problem persists, contact your dealer or nearest Canon Service Center. If the internal temperature of the battery pack attached to thecharger is high, the charger will not charge the battery for safetyreasons (lamp off). During the charging, if the battery’stemperature becomes high for any reason, the charging will stopautomatically (lamp blinks). When the battery temperature goesdown, the charging will resume automatically. Make sure the battery properly is installed in the camera (p.30). Make sure the battery compartment cover is closed (p.30). Make sure the card slot cover is closed (p.31).
