You can freely zoom in and outbetween 1× and 48× magnification — the camera automatically switches betweenoptical zooming (up to 12×) and digital zooming (12× to 48×). A zoom bar showsup in the display. The digital zoom area is in blue.Notes:• When you want to get as close as possible to your subject, keep the zoom at thewide-angle position.
