Connecting to a PrinterExternal Connections81- Images recorded with the camcorder butedited on a computer.- Images whose file names were changed.- Images not recorded with this camcorder.Observe the following precautions duringprinting:- Do not turn off the camcorder or the printer.- Do not change the position of the /switch.- Do not disconnect the USB cable.- Do not remove the memory card.If the message “BUSY.” does not disappear,disconnect the USB cable and restore theconnection after a short while.Trimming SettingsSet the paper size and page layout beforechanging the trimming settings.1 In the print setting menu ( 79),select ( , ) [TRIMMING] andpress ( ).The trimming frame appears.2 Change the size of the trimmingframe.• Move the zoom lever toward T toshrink the frame, and toward W toenlarge it. Press ( ) to change theorientation of the frame (portrait/landscape).• To cancel the trimming settings,move the zoom lever toward W untilthe trimming frame disappears.3 Move ( , ) the trimmingframe.4 After setting the trimming frame,press to return to the printmenu.NOTESAbout the color of the trimming frame:- White: No trimming settings.- Green: Recommended trimming size. Thesize of the trimming frame may differ dependingon the image size, paper size or borderssettings.The trimming setting applies only to oneimage.The trimming setting is canceled in thefollowing cases:- When you turn off the camcorder.- When you disconnect the USB cable.- When you expand the trimming frame beyondits maximum size.- When you change any of the [PAPER]settings.You may not be able to set the trimmingsettings for a still image not recorded with thiscamcorder.Print OrdersYou can mark the still images you want toprint and set the desired number ofcopies as a print order. These print ordersare compatible with the Digital Print OrderFormat (DPOF) standards and can beused for printing on DPOF compatibleprinters ( 78).
