You may continue printing, however, it is highlyrecommended that you prepare a new toner cartridge before the toner hascompletely run out.When prints can no longer be made as toner runs out completely, the followingdisplay appears on the LCD display. Follow the procedure described below to helpyou replace the toner cartridge.NOTEFor detailed information on the displays showing the instructions on replacing the toneror staples, clearing the paper or staple jams, see Chapter 7, “Troubleshooting,” in theReference Guide.WARNING• Do not burn or throw used toner cartridges into open flames, as this may causethe toner remaining inside the cartridges to ignite, resulting in burns or a fire.• Do not store toner cartridges or paper in places exposed to open flames, as thismay cause the toner or paper to ignite, resulting in burns or a fire.• If you accidentally spill or scatter toner, carefully gather the toner particlestogether or wipe them up with a soft, damp cloth in a way that preventsinhalation.Never use a vacuum cleaner that does not have safeguards against dustexplosions to clean up spilled toner.
