198Maintaining Ink Quality For LX-P5510 OnlyLX-P5510 gradually settles with the passing of time. Circulation of ink within the print head andthrough ink flow channels, as well as agitation of the ink in the ink tank must be performedperiodically.Important• Administrative privileges over this printer are required to perform ink refreshing.• The day count for the "Warning" or "Operator Call" of the ink refresh function starts upon theinstallation of the ink tank. If the ink tank is not replaced in 54 days, "Warning" or "Operator Call" willappear on the status monitor.• Do not execute any other operations while Ink Refresh is in progress.For example, do not open/closethe ink tank door, maintenance cartridge door, or upper unit.• Be sure to perform Ink Refresh if "Warning: Ink Refresh Timing 1" or "Operator Call: Exceeding InkRefresh Timing 1"is displayed.Note that performing Ink Refresh when"Operator call: Exceeding Ink Refresh Timing 2 or 3" is displayedwill consume ink. |
