256Chapter 8 AppendixImportant• Administrative privileges over this printer are required to configure settings of this printer.If a user without administrative privileges proceeds with configuration of settings, a message "Youdo not have rights to printer management. Please contact your system administrator." appears.For more details, see "Administrative privileges required for certain features ( P.105)".• When printing is in progress or any error has occurred, [Shipping The Printer] cannot be executed.• Close the Status Monitor if it is running.• If this function is run on a shared printer, make sure the Status Monitor has not been launched onthe client when working on a server, or has not been launched on the server when working on theclient. The process may not be completed correctly if the Status Monitor is running.• [Shipping The Printer] consumes ink. Execute it only when necessary.• Do not move the printer with the upper unit, ink tank door, or maintenance cartridge door open.The printer can break down or it can be damaged.• Before transporting the printer, be sure to drain the printer of ink. If ink tanks are removed beforedraining the printer of ink, ink leaks from the needle sections in the ink tank slots and may stain yourclothes and surrounding work area.1 Check that the warning message "Maintenance cartridge near full" is not displayed on theStatus Monitor.When the warning message is displayed, replace the maintenance cartridge with a new one,and then start the work.
