27IMPORTANTWhen recording movies, try to get a calm,stable picture.Excessive camcorder movement whileshooting and extensive use of fast zoomsand panning can result in jittery scenes. Inextreme cases, the playback of suchscenes may result in visually inducedmotion sickness. If you experience such areaction, immediately stop the playbackand take a rest break as necessary.NOTES• About the recording time: By changing therecording mode you can change thevideo quality and as a result, also theavailable recording time ( 55).• Previous recordings overwritten by anew recording cannot be recovered.Before you start recording, search forthe end of the last recording ( 34).• To protect the tape and video heads, thecamcorder will enter the stop mode ( )if left in record pause ( ) mode for4 minutes 30 seconds. To resumerecording press .• About the Power Save mode: To savepower when the camcorder is poweredby a battery pack, the camcorder willautomatically shut off if left without anyoperations for 5 minutes ( 58).
