65Lithium Button Battery• Do not pick up the battery usingtweezers or other metal tools, as thiswill cause a short circuit.• Wipe the battery with a clean drycloth to ensure proper contact.StorageIf you do not intend to use thecamcorder for a long time, store it in aplace free of dust, in low humidity, andat temperatures not higher than 30 °C.CleaningCamcorder Body• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean thecamcorder body. Never usechemically treated cloth or volatilesolvents such as paint thinner.Lens and Viewfinder• If the lens surface is dirty, theautofocus may not work properly.• Remove any dust or dirt particlesusing a non-aerosol type blowerbrush.• Use a clean, soft lens-cleaning clothto gently wipe the lens or viewfinder.Never use tissue paper.LCD Screen• Clean the LCD screen using a clean,soft lens-cleaning cloth.• Condensation may form on thesurface of the screen when thetemperature changes suddenly. Wipeit with a soft dry cloth.WARNING!• The battery used in this device maypresent a fire or chemical burn hazardif mishandled.• Do not disassemble, modify, immersein water, heat above 100 °C orincinerate the battery.• Backup battery: Replace with aCR1616 battery made by Panasonic,Hitachi Maxell, Sony, Toshiba, Varta orRenata. Use of other batteries maypresent a risk of fire or explosion.• Lithium battery for the wirelesscontroller: Replace with a CR2025battery made by Panasonic, HitachiMaxell, Sony, Sanyo, or withDuracell2025. Use of other batteriesmay present a risk of fire or explosion.• Do not insert the battery into themouth. If swallowed, seek medicalassistance immediately.
