4-6This section describes the methods and advantages of the two main sending methods: Memory sending andManual sending.Memory SendingMemory sending is a quick and easy way to send a document. As the first page of a multipage document is beingscanned into the machine’s memory, the machine begins calling the other party and transmitting the informationeven as the remaining pages are being scanned.Since the machine is multitasking, you can even scan a document into memory while performing other tasks.The machine has enough memory to store up to approximately 270 pages* (fewer if the document contains manygraphics or particularly dense text).* Based on ITU-T No.1 Chart, standard mode.
