Reinstall the printer driver. If thisproblem persists, contact the Customer Care Center.Other applicationsrunning in thebackgroundOther applications opened on your computer can interfere with the installationroutine. Close all open software applications before reinstalling the printer driver.Refer to theEasy Setup Instructions for installing the printer driver.Installation doesnot startautomatically whenthe CD-ROM isinserted into thedriveIf printer driver installation did not start automatically when you inserted the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive:1. Click SStart and select MMy Computer.2. Double-click the CCD-ROM icon.For non-Windows XP, open the MMy Computer window, and then double-click the CCD-ROM icon.Double-click the CCD-ROM icon on your desktop to start installation.Installation CD-ROMnot workingproperlyEnsure that there are no problems with theSetup Software & User’s Guide CD-ROM.Use Windows Explorer to ensure that the CD-ROM can be read.Ensure that the CCD-ROM icon is displayed on the desktop.If there is any problem with the CCD-ROM, contact the Customer Care Center.Unable to proceedbeyond the PrinterConnection Screen If you cannot proceed beyond the PPrinterConnection screen;1. Click CCancel.2. When the IInstallation Failure screen isdisplayed, click SStart Over.3. EEasy Intall screen is displayed, clickBack.4. Click EExit, then remove the CD-ROM.5. Turn the printer off.6. Restart the computer.7. Carefully follow the proceduresdescribed in theEasy Setup Instructionsand reinstall the printer driver.
