You can changehow the camera assigns file numbers.z Choose [File Numbering], and thenchoose an option.ContinuousImages are numbered consecutively(until the 9999th shot is taken/saved)even if you switch memory cards.Auto ResetImage numbering is reset to 0001if you switch memory cards, orwhen a new folder is created.• Regardless of the option selected in this setting, shots may be numberedconsecu ively after the last number of existing images on newly insertedmemory cards. To start saving shots from 0001, use an empty (or formatted(=109)) memory card.• Refer to the Software Guide (=18) for information on the card folderstructure and image formats.Date-Based Image StorageInstead of saving images in folders created each month, you can have thecamera create folders each day you shoot to store shots taken that day.z Choose [Create Folder], and then choose[Daily].X Images will now be saved in folderscreated on the shooting date.Metric/Non-Metric DisplayChange the unit of measurement shown in GPS information for elevation(=68) and elsewhere from m/cm to ft/in as needed.z Choose [Units], and then choose [ft/in].Checking Certification LogosSome logos for certification requirements met by the camera can be viewedon the screen. Other certification logos are printed in this guide, on thecamera packaging, or on the camera body.z Choose [Certification Logo Display], andthen press the <m> button.
