If batteries areinstalled correctly, replace them with new batteries (P29).You are operating the remote con-trol from the outside of the remotecontrol operating range.Check whether you are operating the remote control within theremote control operating range.Also check whether there is any obstacle between the infraredremote receiver of the projector and the remote control (P29).You are operating the remote con-trol under an inappropriate operat-ing environment.Check whether the infrared remote receiver of the projector isexposed to direct sunlight or strong light of lighting apparatus(P29).The channel setting of the remotecontrol does not match with the set-ting of the projector.Check whether the channel setting of the remote control hasbeen changed. You can check the [Remote control] setting inthe [System settings] menu (P115).The key lock function is prohibitingthe remote control operation.Check whether [Key lock] is enabled to disable the remotecontrol operation.In the System settings menu, set [Key lock] to [Off] (P114).Cause CountermeasureThe USB cable is not connectedcorrectly.Check whether the USB cable is connected between the pro-jector and computer correctly (P82).A mouse driver is not installed. Check whether the mouse is functioning on the computer. If itis not, install a mouse driver to the computer.The mouse is not recognized dueto a problem in the computer.Turn on the projector and computer in this order again.
