List of LCD Display MessagesThe following messages are displayed on the LCD display when the machineperforms a function or encounters an error. This section describes messagesrelated to fax functions only. For other messages, see Chapter 6,“Troubleshooting,” in the Reference Guide.CHANGE DOCUMENTWhen using the platen glass to send documents in the Book Sending mode, youpressed [Start] without changing the document.Place the next document on the platen glass ➞ press [Start].DOCUMENT TOO LONGThe document is longer than 14" (356 mm), or is not feeding correctly.Reduce the length of the document to within 14" (356 mm), and then copy orresend it.The ADF roller rotates without feeding documents.Fan the edges of the document that will feed into the machine first, then tap the edgeson a flat surface to even the stack.HANG UP PHONEThe handset is not placed in the handset cradle correctly.Replace the handset correctly.INCORRECT PAPER SIZEThe size of the paper in the paper drawer and that specified in SIZE> (from the ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS menu) are different. This message isdisplayed when the report or the received document is output.Load the correct paper size or change the DRAWER PAPER SIZE setting in. (See Chapter 4, “Common Settings,” in the ReferenceGuide.)
