Setting the Receive Mode 4-3Setting the Receive ModeYou can change the setting of the receive mode whenever necessary. Themachine must be in the Standby mode.1 Press [Receive Mode] until the mode you want appears.You can select from the following:*:If a telephone is connected to the machine, the machine automatically switchesbetween fax calls and voice calls.:The machine receives only faxes.*:Distinguishes between fax and voice calls using Distinctive Ring Patterns.:If a telephone is connected to the machine, you can receive faxes by pressing[Start] before replacing the handset on the telephone.:Receives faxes automatically and routes voice calls to an answering machine.* You can set details for the FaxTel and DRPD modes.
