3815.9 - Refrigerant30RQS/RQSY units operate with refrigerant R-410A.15.10 - High-pressure safety switch30RQS/RQSY units are equipped with automatically resetsafety pressure switches on the high-pressure side. For thealarm acknowledgements refer to the 30RB/RQ 017-160Pro-Dialog+ control manual).15.11 - Storage tank30RQS/RQSY units are equipped with mechanicallywelded storage tanks that permit storing the excess chargewhen the unit operates in heating mode.15.12 - four-way valveThis permits reversal of the cycle for operation in coolingand heating mode and during defrost cycles.15.13 - Control boxThe control box of the 30RQS/RQSY units is equippedwith electric heaters to prevent condensation duringoperation at low outside temperatures. They are installedon the top of the control box on the outside, and arecovered by a thermal insulation layer. These heaters areswitched on, based on the outside temperature.15.8 - Water evaporator/condenserThe evaporator/condenser is a plate heat exchanger withone or two refrigerant circuits. The water connection of theheat exchanger is a Victaulic connection. It has a thermalinsulation of 19 mm thick polyurethane foam and includesfrost protection, as standard. The products that may be added for thermal insulation ofthe containers during the water piping connection proceduremust be chemically neutral in relation to the materials andcoatings to which they are applied. This is also the case forthe products originally supplied by Carrier SCS.NOTEs - monitoring during operation:• follow the regulations on monitoring pressurisedequipment.• It is normally required that the user or operator setsup and maintains a monitoring and maintenance file.• If there are no regulations or to complement themfollow the control programmes of EN 378.• If they exist follow local professional recommendations.• regularly check for possible presence of impurities(e.g. silicon grains) in the heat exchange fluids. Theseimpurities maybe the cause of the wear or corrosionby puncture.• The reports of periodical checks by the user oropera-tor must be included in the supervision andmainte-nance file. PreviousNext |
