Press the SetClock button. The current time will blink on and off. Pressthe UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW buttons until the cor-rect time is shown. Hold down the buttons to quickly movethrough the time display. The AM and PM annunciators willautomatically change. Hold down the Fan button while press-ing UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW to change the time byhours instead of minutes. To ensure the schedules are prop-erly followed, make sure that AM or PM is correct for thetime chosen. When the correct time is shown, press the Modebutton to modify the day of the week. The current day willblink on and off. Press the UP ARROW and DOWN AR-ROW buttons until the correct day is shown. Press the SetClock button again to exit the Set Time mode.Heat Pump Configuration — To configure the ther-mostat for heat pump operation, Advanced Setup Steps 3 (HeatPump Operation) and 4 (Reversing Valve Polarity) must beconfigured correctly. See the Configure Advanced Setup sec-tion for information on configuring these options.NOTE: Some large commercial rooftop heat pump units(50HJQ,TJQ,EJQ) must be configured with Advanced SetupStep 3 (Heat Pump Operation) set to OFF. Refer to the baseunit instructions for more information.Configure Advanced Setup — To enter into the ad-vanced setup screens of the thermostat, press the Mode andProgram buttons at the same time. The Advanced Setup Stepnumber is shown in the top right corner of the thermostatscreen. Use the Mode button to advance through the steps.There are 15 Advanced Setup Steps. See Table 2. Press theProgram button at any time to exit the Advanced Setup mode.NOTE: Advanced Setup Steps 1 and 2 are configured withthe Set Clock button, and are not accessed through the ad-vanced setup screens.HEAT PUMP CONFIGURATION (Steps 3 and 4) — To setthe thermostat for heat pump operation, Advanced SetupStep 3 must be configured to ON. Use the UP and DOWNARROW buttons to configure the step. The default is OFF.Press the mode button to continue to Step 4. Step 4 is usedto set the reversing valve polarity for the heat pump. Thevariable can be set to either ‘‘B’’or ‘‘O.’’ Set the reversingvalve polarity to the correct value depending on the appli-cation. The default is ‘‘O.’’NOTE: Step 4 will appear only if Step 3 is set to ON.Step 5 will appear only if Step 3 is set to OFF.ELECTRIC HEAT CONFIGURATION (Step 5) — Step 5is used to configure the thermostat for electric heat. The vari-able can be configured ON or OFF.
