StorageFollow the procedure below to put the Rugged PDA into storage.NoteIf you have used the Rugged PDA for a long period, it willhave become dusty. We recommend cleaning it before put-ting it into storage. You can find information about cleaningin the previous section "Maintenance and Care."Back up all the data on the Rugged PDA to a computer if it isnecessary.Turn off the power, remove all cables and remove the Rug-ged PDA from the Basic Cradle and AC adaptor.Remove the battery pack and insulate the battery pack ter-minals with cellophane tape when you store it.Carefully package the Rugged PDA so it does not get dirty ordamaged. The box that the Rugged PDA originally came inis a good box into which it can be packed.ConsumablesThe following items are consumables.You will need to inform your original dealer or authorized distributor of themodel number of your unit when purchasing the stylus and battery pack.StylusPurchase a new stylus whenever the tip of your stylus becomes damaged.Battery PackLong use of the battery pack causes it to deteriorate and lose its ability to re-charge. If you feel your battery pack is not providing enough operating time, itmay be time to contact your dealer or authorized distributor about purchasing anew one.
