Controlling the Keyboard SoundsE-12You can use the following procedure to layer two differenttones (such as piano and strings) so they soundsimultaneously when you press a keyboard key.1. Select the first tone you want to use.Press bt and then use cl (10-key) to select the tone youwant.Example: 026 ELEC.PIANO 12. Press ct.3. Use cl (10-key) to select the second tone youwant.Example: 212 STRINGS4. Play something on the keyboard.Both tones sound at the same time.5. Pressing ct again to unlayer the keyboard (so itplays only the tone you selected in step 1).• Each press of ct toggles between layered (two tones)and unlayered (one tone).You can use the procedure below to assign different tones tothe right range and left range of the keyboard, so it soundslike you are playing an ensemble between two instruments.1. Select the tone for the right side range (pageE-11).Press bt and then use cl (10-key) to select the tone youwant.Example: 335 FLUTE 12. Press cs.3.
