Making a new recordingreplaces (deletes) previously recorded data.1. Press br.2. Press 8.This will enter playback standby.3. Press 8 again.This will enter record standby.4. Use cl (10-key) to enter the song number youwant to assign to the recording.5. Press bp to cycle through the parts in thesequence shown below.Example: Left-hand part recording• Configure tone and tempo settings at this time as well.6. Press bo to start built-in song playback andrecorder recording.Play along with the playback.• To stop recording part way through, press bo.7. Recording will stop automatically when the endof the built-in song is reached.This will enter playback standby.8. Press bo.This will start playback of what you recorded.• Each press of bo starts and stops playback.9. Press 8 twice to exit the recorder mode.■ To delete recorded dataIn step 2 of the above procedure, do hold down 8 until themessage “Song Del?” appears on the display.
