E-21Tune Types and Their PartsAuto-accompaniment Tunes (Tune Numbers 00 to 49)As their name suggests, these tunes are made up of an AutoAccompaniment part and a melody part. When using thesetunes for a 3-step lesson, you can practice playing along withthe melody (right hand) part only.Piano Solo Tunes (Tune Numbers 50 to 59)These types of tunes are played with both hands, as in a pianosolo. When using these tunes for a 3-step lesson, you canpractice playing along with both the left hand and right handparts.NOTE• The selected Song Bank tune continues to repeat untilyou stop playback by pressing the START/STOP button.• Chord names are not displayed during playback of PianoSolo tunes.3-Step LessonThe 3-step lesson feature takes you through the three distinctsteps described below to help you learn to play tunes on thekeyboard.Step 1 – Master the timing.In this step, pressing any key on the keyboard plays thecorrect note, so you can concentrate on getting the timingright without worrying about playing the right note.Accompaniment (left-hand part) waits until you press a keybefore proceeding to the next phrase.Step 2 – Master the notes.In this step, you use the display to learn which fingers youshould use and how loud or soft to play, and the key lightsystem to learn which keyboard keys to press.Accompaniment (left-hand part) waits until your play thecorrect note, so you can learn at your own pace.Step 3 – Play at normal speed.This is where you enjoy actually playing the tunes you learnusing Step 1 and Step 2.
