2-8DRIVE CHAINDRIVE CHAIN SLACK ADJUSTMENTTurn off the ignition switch, support the motorcycleon its main stand, and shift the transmission intoneutral.Check slack in the lower chain with a hand midwaybetween the sprockets.CHAIN SLACK : 10~20mmAdjust the slack of drive chain if necessary.Adjust it by loosening the axle nut, loosening bothlock nuts of adjust, and turning the adjusting nut.Tighten the axle nut with the specified torque.TORQUE : 8.8kgf m(88N m)REMOVALIn case that the drive chain becomes extremelydirty, it should be cleaned before lubrication.Remove the drive sprocket cover.
