Refer to the pin definition table inCamera Connectors. If using Power over Ethernet (PoE), make sure Power SourcingEquipment (PSE) is available on the connected network. All electrical work must beperformed in accordance with local regulatory requirements.Ethernet Cable ConnectionUse of Category 5 Ethernet cable is recommended for network connection. For besttransmission quality, cable length should not exceed 100 meters (328 feet). Connect oneend of the Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 connector of the CM-4221-xx camera and the otherend to the network switch or PC.NOTE: You can use an Ethernet crossover cable to connect the CM-4221-xx directlyto a PC.Check the status of the link indicator and activity indicator LEDs.
