Never unplug cables,circuit board terminal blocks, or power plugs while power is applied to thepanel.M2M Connection to MTIIIThe M2M Gateway is connected to the MicroTech III unitcontroller via Ethernet. Connect one end of the provided 6’Ethernet Patch cable to the M2M port marked, “ETH”, and theother end to the MicroTech III Unit controller port marked, “TIP”(Figure 55).Figure 55: ETH and TIP PortsM2M Connection to EMM(Not on Gateway-on-the-Go, IE Express, orWMC kits)The M2M Gateway is connected to the EMM via USB. The 24 VDC connection ismade via a pre-fabricated, keyed plug coming from the lowvoltage end of the power supply.
