Charge pumpCharge Pump SelectionIn most applications a general guideline is that the charge pump displacement should be at least 10% ofthe total displacement of all components in the system. Unusual application conditions may require amore detailed review of charge flow requirements. System features and conditions which may invalidatethe 10% guideline include (but are not limited to):• Continuous operation at low input speeds < 1500 min-1 (rpm)• High shock loading and/or long loop lines• High flushing flow requirements• Multiple low speed high torque motors• High input shaft speedsContact your Danfoss representative for application assistance if your application includes any of theseconditions.26/34 cm³ Charge Pump – Flow and Power CurvesCharge pump flow and power requirements curves shown below at the following conditions:Charge pressure = 20 bar [290 psi]Viscosity = 11 mm²/s [63 SUS]Temperature = 80°C [176°F]Charge pump flow0 500 15001000 2000 30002500 3500242118151296319080706050403020100l/minUS gal/min34 cm3 [2.07 in3/rev]26 cm3[1.59 in3/rev]SpeedFlowmin-1 (rpm)Charge pump power requirements10987654321013.012.011.010.09.08.07.06.05.04.03.02.01.0HP kW34 cm3 [2.07 in3/rev]26 cm3 [1.59 in3/rev]0 500 15001000 2000min-1 (rpm)30002500 3500SpeedPowerTechnical InformationH1P 115/130 Axial Piston Single PumpsTechnical specifications© Danfoss | May 2018 BC00000198en-US0901 | 9 PreviousNext |
