5.3.5 Changing Parameter SettingsView changesQuick Menu Q5 - Changes Made lists all parameterschanged from default settings.• The list shows only parameters which have beenchanged in the current edit-setup.• Parameters which have been reset to defaultvalues are not listed.• The message 'Empty' indicates that noparameters have been changed.Changing settingsParameter settings can be accessed and changed from the[Quick Menu] or from the [Main Menu]. The [Quick Menu]only gives access to a limited number of parameters.1. Press [Quick Menu] or [Main Menu] on the LCP.2. Press [▲] [▼] to browse through the parametergroups, press [OK] to select a parameter group.3. Press [▲] [▼] to browse through the parameters,press [OK] to select a parameter.4. Press [▲] [▼] to change the value of a parametersetting.5. Press [◄] [►] to shift digit when a decimalparameter is in the editing state.6. Press [OK] to accept the change.7. Press either [Back] twice to enter “Status”, orpress [Main Menu] once to enter “Main Menu”.5.3.6 Restoring Default SettingsNOTICERisk of loosing programming, motor data, localisation,and monitoring records by restoration of defaultsettings. To provide a backup, upload data to the LCPbefore initialisation.Restoring the default parameter settings is done by initiali-sation of the frequency converter. Initialisation is carriedout through 14-22 Operation Mode (recommended) ormanually.• Initialisation using 14-22 Operation Mode does notreset frequency converter settings such asoperating hours, serial communication selections,personal menu settings, fault log, alarm log, andother monitoring functions.• Manual initialisation erases all motor,programming, localisation, and monitoring dataand restores factory default settings.Recommended initialisation procedure, via14-22 Operation Mode1. Press [Main Menu] twice to access parameters.2. Scroll to 14-22 Operation Mode and press [OK].3. Scroll to Initialisation and press [OK].4. Remove power to the unit and wait for thedisplay to turn off.5. Apply power to the unit.Default parameter settings are restored during start-up.This may take slightly longer than normal.6. This may take slightly longer than normal.Manual initialisation does not reset the following frequencyconverter information:• 15-00 Operating hours• 15-03 Power Up's• 15-04 Over Temp's• 15-05 Over Volt's5.4 Basic Programming5.4.1 Commissioning with SmartStartThe SmartStart wizard enables fast configuration of basicmotor and application parameters.• At first power up or after initialisation of thefrequency converter, SmartStart starts by itself.• Follow on-screen instructions to completecommissioning of the frequency converter.Always reactivate SmartStart by selecting QuickMenu Q4 - SmartStart.• For commissioning without use of the SmartStartwizard, refer to 5.4.2 Commissioning via [MainMenu] or the Programming Guide.NOTICEMotor data are required for the SmartStart setup.
