3.15 Parameters: 22-** ApplicationFunctions3.15.1 22-4* Sleep ModeThe sequence when running sleep mode in Open Loop:1. The motor speed is less than 22-47 Sleep Speed[Hz] and the motor has been running longer than22-40 Minimum Run Time.2. FC 360 ramps the motor speed down to1-82 MinSpeed for Function at Stop [Hz].3. FC 360 activates 1-80 Function at Stop. Thefrequency converter is now in sleep mode.4. FC 360 compares the speed setpoint with22-43 Wake-Up Speed [Hz] to detect wake upsituation.5. The speed setpoint is greater than 22-43 Wake-UpSpeed [Hz] and the sleep condition has last formore than 22-41 Minimum Sleep Time. Thefrequency converter is now out of sleep mode.6. Go back to speed open loop control (ramp motorspeed up to the speed setpoint). The sequence when running sleep mode in Closed Loop:1. If 20-81 PI Normal/ Inverse Control = [0] Normal. When error between Reference and Feedback isgreater than 22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB Diff, thefrequency converter will go to Boost status. If22-45 Setpoint Boost is not set, the frequencyconverter will go into sleep mode.2. After 22-46 Maximum Boost Time, drive ramps themotor speed down to 1-82 Min Speed for Functionat Stop [Hz].3. The frequency converter activates 1-80 Function atStop. The frequency converter is now in Sleepmode.4. When error between Reference and Feedback isgreater than 22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB Diff, and thecondition last more than 22-41 Minimum SleepTime, the frequency converter is out of sleepmode.5. The frequency converter goes back to Close Loopcontrol.NOTESleep Mode will not be active when Local Reference isactive (set speed manually by means of navigation keys onthe LCP).Does not work in Hand-mode. Auto set-up in open loopmust be carried out before setting input/output in closedloop.22-40 Minimum Run TimeRange: Function:10 s* [0 - 600 s] Set the desired minimum running time forthe motor after a start command (digitalinput or Bus) before entering Sleep Mode.22-41 Minimum Sleep TimeRange: Function:10 s* [0 - 600 s] Set the desired Minimum Time for staying inSleep Mode. This will override any wake upconditions.22-43 Wake-Up Speed [Hz]Range: Function:10 * [ 0 - 400.0 ]22-44 Wake-Up Ref./FB DiffRange: Function:10 %* [0 - 100%]Only to be used if 1-00 Configuration Mode isset for Closed Loop and the integrated PIcontroller is used for controlling the pressure.Set the pressure drop allowed in percentageof set point for the pressure (Pset) beforecancelling the Sleep Mode.22-45 Setpoint BoostRange: Function:0%*[-100- 100%]Only to be used if 1-00 Configuration Mode, is setfor Closed Loop and the integrated PI controller isused. In systems with e.g. constant pressurecontrol, it is advantageous to increase the systempressure before the motor is stopped. This willextend the time in which the motor is stoppedand help to avoid frequent start/stop.Set the desired over pressure/temperature inpercentage of set point for the pressure (Pset)/temperature before entering the Sleep Mode.If setting for 5%, the boost pressure will bePset*1.05. The negative values can be used for e.g.cooling tower control where a negative change isneeded.22-46 Maximum Boost TimeRange: Function:60 s* [0 -600 s]Only to be used if 1-00 Configuration Mode is setfor Closed Loop and the integrated PI controlleris used for controlling the pressure.Set the maximum time for which boost modewill be allowed. If the set time is exceeded,Sleep Mode will be entered, not waiting for theset boost pressure to be reached.Parameter Descriptions VLT® AutomationDrive FC 360 Programming Guide80 MG06C102 - VLT® is a registered Danfoss trademark33
