1 General Information1.1 Important Safety WarningsWARNINGHIGH VOLTAGEISD 410 servomotors operate at a high voltage whenconnected to the electrical supply network. A hazardousvoltage is present on the servomotors whenever they areconnected to the mains network via the power supplymodule and the connection box. There are no indicatorson the servomotor that indicate the presence of mainsvoltage. This indication is provided on the connection box.Installation, commissioning and maintenance may only beperformed by qualified staff. Incorrect installation, commis-sioning or maintenance can lead to death or serious injury.WARNINGUNINTENDED STARTA servomotor that is connected to the electrical supplynetwork can start running at any time. This may be causedby an external switch, a CAN bus command, a referencesignal, or clearing a fault condition. Servomotors and allconnected devices must be in good operating condition. Adeficient operating condition may lead to death, seriousinjury, damage to equipment or other material damagewhen the device is connected to the electrical supplynetwork. Take suitable measures to prevent unintendedstarts.WARNINGDISCHARGE TIMEThe DC link capacitors of the servomotors remain chargedfor some time after the mains supply is switched off at thepower supply module.To avoid electrical shock, fully disconnect the powersupply module from the mains before carrying outmaintenance.
