25-PIN CABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS6955.5.1 Code VerifierIf the DS2100N is used as a Code Verifier, the verifier code can be configured in softwarethrough the Genius™ configuration program. However it is also possible to use one of theinputs to trigger when the scanner should store a code read as the verifier code. The Code Verifier parameter must be enabled, and the configuration parameters to allowcorrect Code Type reading must be saved to the scanner in order to read the verifier code. When the selected input is activated, the next read code will be stored as the verifier code inthe scanner's non-volatile (Flash) memory. For more details see the Verifier Parameters in the "2K/4K Family Software ConfigurationParameter Guide” Help file".5.6 OUTPUTSTwo general purpose outputs are available. The following pins are present on the 25-pinconnector of the scanner:25-pin Name Function9 Vdc Power Source - Outputs8 O1+ Output 1 +22 O1- Output 1 -11 O2+ Output 2 +12 O2- Output 2 -7 GND Power Reference - OutputsThe meaning of the two outputs Output 1 and Output 2 can be defined by the user (No Read,Right, Wrong, etc.). Refer to the Genius™ Help On Line.By default, Output 1 is associated with the No Read event, which activates when the codesignaled by the external trigger is not decoded, and Output 2 is associated with the CompleteRead event, which activates when all the selected codes are correctly decoded. The output signals are fully programmable being determined by the configuredActivation/Deactivation events, Deactivation Timeout or a combination of the two.USER INTERFACEO+8/1122/12 O-DS2100N Vext 30 Vdc max.CEFigure 83 - Open Emitter Output Connections
