154 Troubleshooting Your System4 Check the configuration settings, make any necessary corrections, andrestart the system.5 If installed, remove the front bezel. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with theproduct.6 Turn off the system and attached peripherals, and disconnect the systemfrom its electrical outlet.7 Open the system. See "Opening the System" on page 80.8 If you have a SAS RAID controller, ensure that the following RAIDcomponents are properly installed and connected:• Memory module• Battery9 Verify that the cable connections between the SAS backplane(s) and theSAS controller are correct. See "Installing the SAS Backplane" on page 131.10 Ensure that the cables are firmly connected to the SAS controller and theSAS backplane board.11 Close the system.
