The 2000 W AC power supplies support both low-line (100–120 VAC) and high-line(200–240 VAC) AC power configurations on a J-EX8208 switch. Each 2000 W AC powersupply delivers 2000 W of power at high line (200–240 VAC) or 1200 W at low line(100–120 VAC) to the J-EX8208 chassis. The redundant AC configuration ships with six AC power supplies to provide the capacityto power the system using N+1 or N+N power redundancy.RelatedDocumentationField-Replaceable Units in a J-EX8208 Switch on page 21•• Connecting and Configuring a J-EX Series Switch (CLI Procedure) on page 144• Connecting and Configuring a J-EX Series Switch (J-Web Procedure) on page 146J-EX8208 Switch ConfigurationsTable 4 on page 6 lists sample hardware configurations for a J-EX8208 switch—redundant AC and fully loaded chassis AC—and the components included in eachconfiguration. The switch is shipped in a redundant AC configuration.Table 4: J-EX8208 Switch Hardware ConfigurationsConfiguration ComponentsSwitch Configuration• Chassis with backplane• One fan tray• Two SRE modules• One SF module• Six 2000 W AC power supplies• Six power cords• Eight line card cover panelsRedundant configuration (AC)• Chassis with backplane• One fan tray• Two SRE modules• One SF module• Six 2000 W AC power supplies• Six power cords• Eight line cardsFully loaded chassis configuration (AC)NOTE: You can install up to eight line cards (any combination of line cards)in the switch.NOTE: Line cards are not part of the redundant configuration.
